Therapist Templates
The templates are ready made sites that require no more than adding your own photos and text. The basic template is based around a fictional alternative therapist called Jane Jones. You may find that you can actually use a lot of the text and only edit it slightly, so that means less work for you. The examples of the templates on this site are just to give you an idea of how your finished site could look. But you do have a degree of flexibility. And every few months I'll be creating more template designs for you to choose from.
The Basic Template
Here is the basic template for February 2007. Click on this link to see the basic template. You can click on the back button in the left hand navigation panel in the template pages to bring you back to this page. There is also a style switcher so you can see how it looks with a green and a blue colour scheme. You can choose your own colour scheme by telling me the base colour or even suggest a colour palette. You can also choose your own font and font size. You don't have to use all the pages either if you don't have that much content and of course you can add more content to each page that I have illustrated here with the example.
What you can't do with the basic template is to change the layout. It is sold as it is with the photo appearing in the right hand column. Nor can you change the width of the columns or any of the relative dimensions. But you can add extra text and headings, and change the layout by the way you structure your paragraphs.
The Standard Template

With this template you get all the features of the basic template and more.
You can choose your colour scheme, your font and your own text, but you also get a header image or logo. Usually the header image or banner across the top of the page dictates the look and feel of your site. If you already have a logo or image in mind then that would go here and of course the colour scheme would be based on that. You also have a few extra pages to play with should you want to add extra content or divide your existing content over a few pages. You also get a thing called a favicon which shows up in some browsers in the address bar and also in the favourites folder. It just adds a little more identity to your site.
As with the basic template there are things that you can't change such as the maximum number of pages, which is 12. The column widths and the given layout. And the size and position of the photos.
The Custom Template

With this template you get all the features of the standard template and more, a lot more.
With this template you can have up to 10 extra pages compared to the basic template. So you can add a lot more content or even divide your site up into sections. Your options exceed what is possible with the other templates. With this one you can not only suggest your own colour scheme but you can also change the layout. If you want the columns wider or narrower, if you want larger photos and in a different position or background images. It could be based on the basic template or it could be designed from scratch. Perhaps you have an idea in mind and would like me to create those ideas into a website.
In the example, I have taken the basic template and customised it by adding icons and background images. But you can make it as simple or as complex as you like. You could use other websites as an inspiration or photographs or paintings. With this package you have complete flexibility.
